borrrrrrrrrrrrring... where’s this 7 series concept we saw a few years back?!

Can’t remember the last time I thought a 7-series was “cool.” Never thought I would again. But, this is COOL!

My dad owns a current 750li x-drive and his biggest complaint is the hesitation between stepping on the gas and the acceleration, either down to turbo lag or electronics. Did the prototype you drove still have this issue?

Our friends over at BMWBlog got the chance to drive the 2016 BMW 7-Series prototype, complete with CFRP that drops the weight by nearly 300 pounds and uses gesture controls to answer phone calls and change the stereo volume.
