I really liked Fury Road - but Road Warrior did a better job establishing its villains as evil/dangerous - with killing the dog, and the assault/murder of couple making a break for it.

I agree - this lazy writing does not jive with my belief that proper word usage matters. This does not pass mustard. When I see this, I'm chomping at the bit to point out the errors.
