God that game was garbage.
God that game was garbage.
I left Visceral at around gate 2. This sucks on so many levels. The devs that were there working on Ragtag are all huge Star Wars fans and the entire studio was extremely excited to work on the game.
It’s a whole new engine, not as easy as just fixing any issues with the first one. All new problems.
Jade left that project a long, long time ago.
Dafuq? This comment was supposed to be in the Destiny 2 thread. Kinja!
Either QA fell asleep at the wheel on that one or found it and a Dev was like “eh, no one’s gonna do That” (Really, honestly, they exist). Seriously, you add a new emote there are two basic things to test. Does it work. Does collision work. That’s the first thing that should have been checked.
What was the multiplayer like?
I did not understand that part because I never thought of Juice as “white” to begin with.
Maybe DC3 just finished reading some Bret Easton Ellis (he switches from third to first person a ton in American Psycho).
I don’t think you have any idea how expensive the hardware and software is in game development. Dev Kits alone can be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and nearly everyone needs at least one. Overtime during a single crunch week alone is staggering, then think of months of it.
Pepe Silvia is the one Always Sunny joke that took me forever to get.
Fidget Spinners
Very very close. A different Battle...
I know that the last game I worked on that had a beta (it’s listed in your Google search) the extension was 100% planned in advance.
I had a 360 controller that had a left analog stick that was always inputting a slight up command. I would be able to walk forward in any game without actually pressing the analog stick. It wasn’t until I started playing Skate that I realized how special this controller was. After landing any trick I automatically…
This is exactly why Battlefield Hardline ended up just giving away all the DLC. The map packs fracture the user base and you can’t find matches on the maps you want to play. Say what you want about EA but they are the first publisher to see the Map Pack tide changing and adapt with free DLC with Titanfall 2.
I work at a new/used music, movie, game store. A kid came in and bought Crimson Skies and I just held the case to my chest and told him how at great the game was.
I’ve worked in the games industry for over a decade and have yet to meet someone that knows so much about a game as Bronson. I sat next to him for nearly a year and would just stare like an idiot at the level of play he was at.
Peter Moore is one of the nicest, down to earth people I’ve ever met, second only to Scott Hartsman. I think it’s funny to read all the hate for CEOs that you have never met or worked under and only see as some evil overlord.
Love all the replies saying “They work fine in X country”. Guess what, they work fine in other countries because other countries DON’T HAVE THE US CONSTITUTION. People aren’t upset with them because they don’t have the same right to face an accuser in a court of law or contest tickets and various other rights we enjoy.
