Whenever somebody insists that Texas is peopled by a majority of idiots, I say this:

Well said. People think that because there isn't a burning hatred in their hearts toward black people and they don't regularly go on lynchings that they can't possibly have ever done anything racist. She may not BE a racist in intent but her ACTIONS were racist and she should take responsibility for them.
