Be glad you don’t live on the Hopi reservation and work in the Navajo reservation. Everybody ends up coming in late.

You appear to have missed the point.

It should be. It might not be something you like, but some people do.

A lot of the good horror that isn’t based on real life*, seems to be a cross between horror and either Sci-Fi or Fantasy. The science fiction seems to be based on the results of something like “I wonder what this button does” or “I wonder what happens if I mix these things up”.

I know that most of the writers of this genre I used to follow have stopped writing. Some stopped writing in the genre, some stopped writing altogether, and a lot have died.

You might want to ask “Why does this list have no Science Fiction”? I received a notification of new publication of 4 previously unpublished works of Frank Herbert on Friday.

I use an Otterbox case, with a screen protector. Combined, it makes the thing more water resistant.

It is actually a source of protein, albeit a low amount, plus a lot of essential vitamins in an easily absorbed form. Wheat is a decent (and for many , the primary) source of many vitamins that are necessary - which is why anyone saying a gluten free diet is healthy has no idea what they are talking about.

It has been years since I visited a RR, but back then most of these items were bottomless.

They are easy to make, and you don’t need to buy “grits” to make them. Good quality corn meal works just fine. And because you have to work at making grits when using corn meal, they are usually better (unless you screw it up).

Because unless you have a medical issue preventing you from eating wheat, grits are considered less healthy. And Cream of Wheat is actually a recommendation for those looking to lose weight (including those looking into bariatric surgery), as Cream of Rice and grits are both higher cab/calorie options per serving.

Nope. There are several differences.

Any good sandwich shop or old style deli.

I like Denny’s, particularly the “breakfast” menu that is available all day.

I will agree that their unfrosted cake donuts are among the best. The frosted or filled ones are still good, but I’ve had better.

A “free donut”? Back in the day when I worked retail they would give us 2-3 dozen free when dropping off the day’s order.

Yep, that is it. The”bertos” chain of places.

Even so, it would be overpriced.

I can’t remember the name. What is the chain of Mexican fast food places in Phoenix/Tucson? Some of their burritos and platters were among the best things you could get - particularly at 3am.

Last time I was in upstate NY, I saw a few of them.
