Combined with a couple of companies like “Lock & Lock”, that make a product that is at least as good, costs less, and has a pretty decent warranty (assuming you keep the receipt).

I was billed for 7 hours of labor*, per VA regulations. I asked for an explanation, and they showed me what the state says they can bill for labor.

The difference is that McD’s is not likely to actually sell the thing, no matter how many customers say “I would buy that”.
I discovered a very long time ago, the easiest way to get rid of unwanted food was to put it on a table in the work break room with a “help yourself” sign on it.
