I’m carrying a really giant Dooney and Burke bucket bag right now, it’s really pretty and well made, but you would have to be chill with carrying something hot pink wherever you go (which I very much am). It looks like this:

I like Everlane. They have a pretty big tote bag that I use for all my shit: work shoes, laptop, makeup bag, water bottle, a book. It’s only $60. It’s really basic but it does the job. What I really appreciate is that it has a zipper. I’ve noticed a lot of totes don’t have zippers, which bugs me.

Tangentially related. Apparently Azelia Banks’s Twitter tantrum from yesterday got her kicked off some UK music festival she was (inexplicably) headlining.

I do not believe she exercises that much personal control over her branding that she can just pull that video down. Nah to the ah no.

I 100% refuse to believe she didn’t see the video before it was released. This is a classic publicity stunt. It fits into a popular media and cultural narrative, promotes her new single/album, and feeds classic tropes (big mean label versus artist).

Next up, she’ll sell the unedited video on her website for 5 bucks a pop.

If you don’t want to be photoshopped you stipulate that in your contract.
