I think I’m there currently. I’m pretty dang happy with the stable, I do miss having a more powerful bike... but riding in LA on highways is simply not for me anymore. Too many close calls and buddies with horrific accidents.

I bought a loaded up level 2 in 2020 for $61k. The only downside to the PWs is the big hit they take on payload and towing vs the rest of the HD Line-up. My bumper pull camper isn’t that heavy and I don’t need 2000# of crap in the bed, so it works well for me.

I wheel my 2020 Power Wagon. We’ve done last chance canyon in CA, and I’ve made a couple of trips to Anza Borrego. It rides pretty great offroad, but that with softer springs than the rest of the HD line, so it takes a pretty big hit on payload. It’ll go almost anywhere that my buddies stock Rubicon will... but I

I had a 2008 late last year as a rental for work travel in France. I was genuinely please with the car. The right infotainment, the right size, and the correct amount of useful gadgets. The camera system was VERY helpful getting into my allotted parking: thru a tiny gate, down an elevator, reverse out and into a tiny

My 2000 Mercury Gran Marquis HPP. V8, RWD, 4 speed auto... it was a dinosaur of old school engineering with ford’s mostly indestructible Mod Motor. A chubby mustang GT that happily swallowed people and A LOT of stuff. The panther chassis is renown for it’s toughness.

Bingo! I’ve got a 2020 PW. It does shockingly well off road for an 8000 lb pickup. I’ve run trails with my buddy’s (mostly stock) JK Rubicon and a pretty heavily modified Tacoma TRD (35s, long travel, armor). The big wagon drug some parts on Last Chance Canyon, but she’ll keep up with most of the other off-road toys.

Any panther: Crown Vic, Gran Marquis, Town Car.

1984 Caprice Classic in 2001: $1,200

The Explorer can now tow up to 5,600 pounds, a new record for Explorers.

I’m amazed when car makers show off these gorgeous leather interiors at auto-shows. Head over to any dealer and I guarantee that all you will find are automotive caves with black leather seats. Why aren’t these cars ordered with more interesting interiors???

Kia Soul Kia Soul!! My long term girlfriend loves her 2011 Soul Exclaim. 96k miles and counting . Very reliable; one recall for a potential corrosion issue (she lived in a state that salted roads before heading to the west coast) but ZERO mechanical problems. I’d highly recommend stepping up to a Sport or Exclaim
