It’s like every character was a hilarious parody of gritty 90s Image Comic characters. Idk if the real Legends will be scared of their robot counterparts or laugh too much at how angsty they can make their voices.

Probably the best Rick and Morty episode of season 5 since the season’s first two episodes. Now I really want to see Birdperson break his daughter out of jail and be happy for once. And more of young Rick please.

I enjoy Rogue One but I’m not sure I love it. Lots of cool moments and unique takes on both the Rebel Alliance and classic Star Wars settings (plus all of K-2SO), but the human characters always felt pretty interchangeable in terms of personality. Weird as it is, I think TFA and TLJ made its characters more distinct

I thought this was a satisfying enough finale. Regardless of everyone’s thoughts, however, I’m really proud of this show for exceeding every possible expectation. It managed to outlast all the more high-profile Marvel shows, develop C-listers into beloved characters while inventing new beloved ones, and end on its own

It’s funny when you consider how many great PS2 titles 2001 had to offer. Metal Gear Solid 2, Jak and Daxter, Grand Theft Auto 3, Ico, Silent Hill 2, justvto name a handful. THAT is one hell of a yearly lineup.

I guess A.V. Club isn’t reviewing The 100 anymore? Damn it... there’s only one season left and I really like those breakdowns.

So quick question: is A.V. Club still doing reviews of The 100? I haven’t seen anything for the Season 7 premiere yet.

Only disappointment of the Bruce Wayne reveal is that it means we need a different excuse to see Kevin Conroy return as Old Bruce. That has to happen in Season 2, if possible.

Solid enough way to end the season, even if this wasn’t the finale anyone intended to make. I’d say my only disappointment is that, now that they’ve introduced a version of young Bruce Wayne (i.e. Tommy-Bruce), we’ll need a new way for justify getting Kevin Conroy back as Old Bruce. And I REEEEEALLY want to see him

I am not looking forward to what happens next week. Hopefully we see Rex lose his inhibitor chip and help Ashoka escape, setting up the events of Rebels.

Well, it’s only a matter of time before this path gets Jaha floated.....

Still, I’m glad Phil Lamar finally got his live-action Martian form debut on the show. That makes TWO Justice League voice actors on Supergirl.

Given how J’onn’s brother is voiced by DCAU alumni Phil LaMarr, maybe he’ll end up being Ma’alefa’ak’s human form. Another amusing way this show saves VFX budget

And they ARE still running on those issues. But it doesn’t matter to progressive pundits because the moment they do anything the Bernie crowd disagrees with, suddenly everyone is untrustworthy and must be primaried. So much for respecting the people’s hard word on the campaign trail

Ehhhh I’m still cool with Mikie Sherill as my Congresswoman. She’s the first Democrat our district’s had in over a decade and we’re not tossing her to the curb because progressives insist everyone be a carbon copy of themselves.

Ok Abby, you got Kane back in a younger body, with abs. Now please wake Indra out of cryosleep and have her kick some Prime ass

Admittedly, making Josephine the most noticeable antagonist rather than her dad was a twist I wasn’t totally expecting. God only knows what Abby read in her eugenics book to make gladiator cannibalism seem tame by comparison.

I suppose that begs the question, what happens if Madi were to get an implant? Would the Flame counteract the Prime personas with its lineage?
