@Louiethe8th: Yeah that part is still beyond me, but I won't turn it into a debate on religion.

@klick73: He was making an analogy. It's exactly the same type of thinking that a good portion of white Americans do towards all Muslims.

@Jonathan Parent: One of the best applications of an Arrested Development quote ever (assuming that's what you were referencing here).

@Nitemancometh: I saw the picture and knew it had to be you posting before I even looked.

@Ben92: I'm not saying everyone in the South is stupid. I'm saying that statistically, the South is more religious and less educated/literate than most of the rest of the country.

You know what, fucking crazy old mustachey-guy? Here's what I propose for you:

@ReberIsReber: Haha, yeah my MBP is only running 4. I was about to be REALLY impressed.

@ModernBawhair: Ahh, I was gonna say... fuck my iPhone, I want THAT. 8gb of storage isn't that great though (but also not too shabby).

@SparklyJesus: You can thank the southern half of the US for that.

To clarify... when you say 8GB of memory, do you mean MEMORY or storage space?

I'm an atheist, but guys like this really make me want to believe in God/heaven for the sole purpose of this scenario playing out:

@joshera: I haven't used it, but that doesn't surprise me much. I remember when I first discovered VLC player for the mac/pc and could play all my uhh... downloaded vids... without having to convert shit (playing anything divx on mac used to be a nightmare!). It was incredible. Hopefully it'll do the same for iPad

@klyph: Understandable comparison, but somewhat inaccurate in this case (I believe). Anyone can go to a community garden and farm shit (or at their own house/farm/whatever) if they wanted. Anyone could take a job as a farmer somewhere if they wanted to work with crops/animals/whatever.

@minibeardeath: True, but you also have to realize that the iPad is not the processing standard you should look at when analyzing the upcoming tablet market. Apple (I think) intentionally dumbed it down a little because they weren't sure how it would sell, much like the original iPhone.

@microinjectionist: Sometimes, I think about what it means for me to be an American and it just makes me sad.

@jdale: No, because those aren't magical and revolutionary.
