I think, like a lot of things, you give it a name that makes it sound epic or have some other tie-in, all of a sudden it’s “legendary”. ( I know Tail of the Dragon has been around a while, it’s not “all of a sudden”.  But I hadn’t heard of it until a couple of years ago, I’m sure other people are the same.)

I mean, legions of chiptune makers and listeners would suggest that many people prefer MIDI, at least some of the time. I was also 10 when I played this, and nostalgia is a hell of a drug. [MIDI FTW]
