Interesting stuff... I stand corrected.

Knives are made out of stainless steel to prevent corrosion as a convenience.

Yeah, when I read that quote the first time (on another Jalopnik article, I think?) I knew they were eventually going to get rid of that guy. He basically just said “It’s not our fault we can’t sell cars. Nobody likes the things Cadillacs try to be good at.” [Even though there are other cars on the market that ARE

This is the correct attitude. It’s funny because I always start a project with the fear that I will mess up. But once I do my research (internet, shop manual) and start undoing bolts... it will get done. It also helps remove some fear when you’ve had big mess-ups and been able to fix them.... or call in back up to fix

mmm.... I don’t know about that. Stainless is good for keeping rust at bay, but the chromium can make the steel more brittle than non-stainless steels. It’s why you see knives made out of stainless, but not longer blades (machetes, swords, lawnmower blades, etc.

cool idea!

MKZ, MKS, MKC, MKX, MKT.... Am I right? <goes to check> Awwww.... the Continental replaced the MKS, and there doesn’t seem to be an MKT anymore. Forgot about the Continental. And apparently there’s going to be a Nautilus for 2019? Huh. All I know is the Z stands for Zephyr.

hmmm.... Fair point.

That’s great until the day your own forces can’t defend themselves because they couldn’t complete their daily uplink, because of tech issues, imposed radio silence, other. This is almost sure to happen.

Tanks are a pretty big bill themselves. How did they afford those? Theft or appropriating abandoned property allows for some “hefty” acquisitions.

I also love this because the only person who “won” in that situation is the guy selling the stickers. You know he didn’t license the manufacturer logo and say “Yeah, we’re going to have a kid pissing on your logo”. The “kid” is almost always Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes, who to my knowledge never peed on anything in

My dad used to say “..so scared you couldn’t drive an icepick up his ass with a sledgehammer”.

In the US you usually hear [SEL-i-kah]

<Queues up meme about confusion between a Porsche model and a stupid dance from the '90's>

This sort of reminds me of an article I read one time about spam emails and the reason that they often contain misspellings and grammatical errors, and it’s actually intentional. The thinking goes that if you read this email, and it’s from a Nigerian prince who wants to send you money and the letter is very

would have been better, right?

This car is so great as a restomod.

One would hope.

Why the F*** does kinja duplicate previous images every time I add a new one? makes no damn sense.

You can do this with any design trends for cars of a similar type:
