Nope, Long Island.

I have the “Wear a helmet” battle with my 12 year old daily, simply because of the sheer number of dipshit parents in my town who allow their kids to ride their bikes up and down main roads without them. Now it’s if course become a “Cool kids don’t wear helmets” thing, and I have to fight with my son so he doesn’t

This was a way for Gase & Douglas to remind everyone that McCagnon ran the draft, and when they undoubtedly suck this season, it won’t be their fault.

I started playing little league late, the summer before 5th grade, because I had just moved out to the suburbs from the city and that’s what kids in the suburbs did. So while most of the team had been playing for awhile at that point, I never had. In our first game, I managed to draw a walk in my third at bat to reach

The best part of this entire story is that it was a semi-pro team. It’s not even like he can claim he got a chance at Bills practice or something. These were regular guys with regular jobs playing competitive football who absolutely lit his ass up.

For the last time, Rex Grossman is NOT coming out of retirement!

Gronk & Luck are going to light it up in the XFL.

This should be mandatory reading at the NFL rookie symposium, instead of having Antonio Cromartie telling them to use condoms and Adrian Petersen handing out his financial planner’s business card.

I don’t feel the least bit bad.

The Mets would be 92-30 instead of 62-60.

Back when I was in Middle School in 1988, EVERYONE wore Slayer T Shirts, and NOBODY actually listened to their music.

What, no love for Teddy?

I agree, but add Booker T as well.

The only good Kings are the ones that go all out with the gimmick. Wearing the crown and the robes, carrying a scepter, sitting on thrones carried by jobbers, etc.

Honestly, wouldn’t Schutt have the ability to quickly manufacture a helmet similar to the old one, yet up to the NFL standards?

I know they say if you ever fall off your bike and hit your helmeted head, you should replace the helmet as it is no longer safe to use. I’d have to assume a football helmet can only handle so many hits before it’s effectiveness diminishes.

He spent the back half of last season with the New York Jets, which it is probably safe to assume explains a lot of why he’s feeling so completely shitty and demoralized about the sport of football these days.”

50th Anniversary of The Miracle Mets. Just Sayin.

It think it depends on what team you go see. I’ve never personally been in a fight, but I’ve had enough happen around me to make the experience miserable. I went to a Giants-Redskins game around 10 years ago. Giants blew them out. A kid sat 2 row in front of me in a Skins Jersey. 4 shirtless Jersey meatheads two rows

Jesus Christ people. It was a joke, because he’s old. Get it? Apparently not.
