It won’t be Jake, Syndergaard is on his way out. It’s actually pretty smart doing it this way, as they now basically control the market on good, available pitchers at the deadline. They can name their price on either Syndergaard, Wheeler, or even Stroman. If a team thinks one of those 3 can push them into the playoffs…

I would imagine that 90% of People could have several generations of their family live comfortably on $50M. AP blew through that much and put himself several more million into debt in a little over a decade. That’s some impressive incompetence.

This picture reminds me of Kevin Smith talking about his experience with Prince. He was so out of touch with reality after years of being shielded and coddled by his handlers, that he would emerge from his bedroom in the middle of the night, and declare “Its 3AM in Minneapolis, and Prince needs a camel!”.
