You really don’t need to spend much money to play. Honestly if you just buy stimpacks and level characters you get enough gold to get started with a few heroes.

Well he got a Stimpack with the starter pack he bought so it gave him a big XP boost I didn’t have up until that point. That’s how he caught up so quick.

I have been playing this since alpha and it keeps getting better. I think I found my new crack. I got my roommate to start playing with me as soon as it hit open beta and we did 2 matches and I left for work. When I got home he already spent like 50$ in game and was one level behind me. It can be addictive.

I am rocking 16 gb of good Corsair ram and chrome still mysteriously crashes once in a while. I think it is just poor optimization. I am gonna add another 16 gb soon so it will be less of a non issue than it already is anyway.
