...if I was a Deadspin writer, I would write articles just so I could flirt with women, too.

The WTC was designed to withstand an impact from one of these planes. I'll leave you to figure out which one.

Shirtless, a cross necklace, professional wrestling attire and cheap out-of-style khakis. This guy is every Walmart customer rolled into one.

He looks like a nice enough guy...let 'em through.

My girlfriend used the same trick to sneak into my house permanently.

Not that excited.

I'm very happy. The Hawks played a great game, but survived on defense. I was disappointed with the rushing game. I think if the Hawks/Broncos played 10 games, it's split 5 and 5. It was just our day today.

As a Seahawks fan, I really wish being "just about that action" was more than 39 yards on 15 carries.

Ha he might just be able to please a household cat... #catcock

You clearly missed the point. Lack of preparation is NOT exclusive to the south. Many a northern town are ill-prepared for snow, for whatever reason. They do not send plows to salt. They have nothing to clear the main roads. The roads are as big of a mess as these are. Society as we know it STILL doesn't break down.

In Chicago, there are streets that have been left unplowed for weeks. Very few people have four wheel drive — heck, I have rear wheel drive. It's also been too cold for salt to have much an effect.

I've driven a car on glare ice while out ice fishing. All it takes is a little common sense and not slamming on your breaks, something that apparently southerners are incapable of.

Assholes point to this as proof of Southern stupidity. That is assholish, even if the South is a shithole for many, many other reasons. More importantly, it's utterly useless. There are specific lessons to be learned here and blaming it on southern stupidity, or making excuses for poor planning, decisions, and driving

No. Just flat out no. Plows are not always out before the snow. Salt either comes too late, or can be washed away by rain that falls ahead of the snow. This makes for longer and more dangerous commutes. There will be deaths, easily topping the 5 in Alabama in larger cities. Yet life doesn't stop for those still alive.

I know what Deadspin's crew of cretins is thinking, but let me offer a reality check up front before this gets out of hand. It is never funny to make jokes about the University of Michigan.

I once again do not respect Jay Glazer's choices.

I think he's practicing for the feeled test.

That was my angle, yes. The things described in this article are shitty and I agree that these cheerleaders are being treated poorly. The real problem is that whoever quits from this crap job will be instantly be replaced by someone willing to put up with it. So the problem is much larger than the way the NFL treats

You've basically just distilled down the libertarian ideas on labor / capital interaction.
