I'll be honest man, there is a ton of anxiety going into the flight. However, once you sit down and get strapped into the jet, it all fades. I have been lucky enough to do this twice now, and both times all the stress went away.

What's not cool about it? I like the concept, this would be even cooler with Europe over the ages - think of all the territory changes. Rome, Byzantine Empire, Ottoman Empire, the various colonial powers, Austria-Hungary, Nazi Germany, etc.

One of the most fun times when my son was in Cub Scouts was the "Dads" division in Pinewood Derby. Some of them (us...) take that stuff very seriously.
