Admittedly yes, it was because of “Trump bad” but in 2020 everybody was in lockdown and mad about it. Fucked up as it sounds, I think COVID helped Biden win 2020 more than any other bad thing Trump did in office. That all aside though, the biggest problem Biden faces is recency bias. People who are mad about the

Interesting that the White House didn’t say it was his stutter. First it was a cold (followed by hand shaking and being right up in people’s faces at Waffle House). Then it was being over prepared by his advisors at Camp David (never really heard of someone being “over prepared” but whatever.  Then it was jet lag

Do whatever you want man, but trying to convince me that Biden’s stutter is his problem is absolute insanity.”

Look at the polls though. Right now, Biden would be facing a wipeout to that fat old felon. That’s why people are freaking out. We’re headed towards a nightmare and the guy who is supposed to save us needed to have at least a solid showing to reassure the people. He completely fumbled the chance.

no it’s fine he’s totally crisp between 10am and 4pm, when all things in the entire world happen.

Why does it feel like I’ll be voting for this guy:

Biden was holed up in Camp David for a week (supposedly) prepping immediately prior to the debate. The “jetlagged” excuse is patently absurd. A stutter doesn’t induce you to say things like “we finally beat Medicare” or, when the other guy is talking, just kind of stare off into space with your mouth half open like

You really think framing it as “guy can’t recover from jetlag in twelve days” is helping?

Literally all of them?  I don’t even understand the question; do you think that if Biden hadn’t decided to run, the DNC wouldn’t have had a primary race?  Harris probably would have been the front-runner, but it’d be far from the first time we’ve seen a VP not get the nomination after their administration ended.

It baffles me that people keep framing it this way. Yes, Trump sucks. Yes, Biden is the better choice between the two of them. But why is he the choice?

There was a TON of Republican panic in 2016 as Trump steadily dismantled all GOP challengers and most considered him an embarrassment that would lose the election and cause long-term damage to the party. It’s easy to forget now, but conservative media (Fox News and talk radio) was very slow to warm up to Trump. Fox

I’m not saying the overlap is in and of itself evidence of wrongdoing, but people with similar proclivities who run in the same social circles (like, say, famous comic book writers) tend to share with each other.

That’s because there really is no reason for the Republicans to panic. Republican voters are in two camps right now: the ones who worship Trump as the second coming of Christ and would still vote for him if he did do that whole “shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue” thing, and the Republicans who hate Trump (like

Do you have a link to her making that comment. I couldn’t find it

Amanda Palmer said the nanny was the 14th woman to complain about him to her. Oof. Imagine how many didn’t in that time period. This is why an “open relationship” with a narcissist, sociopath, or psychopath is generally a poor idea.

What?  You don’t cuddle with your new nanny in the bath after hiring them?

I’ve suspected that there was a shoe to drop with Gaiman ever since the Warren Ellis stuff broke a few years back. There was just too much overlap in their fanbases, and the same ‘non-exclusive relationship’ relationships for Gaiman to somehow have never crossed any lines.

Scarlett alleges that Gaiman assaulted her within hours of their meeting in his New Zealand residence in February 2022, when she was hired as a nanny for his child. The two apparently shared a bath where, according to Gaiman, they only “cuddled” and “made out” with consent.”

First a Rabin My World Of Flops article, then a Will Harris Random Roles piece, and now an Ignatiy review? Whatever year we’ve time traveled to, let’s stay there please.

my wife used to have this same beige (it was a hand-me-down purchase) Rav in the five-seat configuration, but it seemed to have some pep even when we filled it with a lot of camping gear or just another couple of adults.
