It’s buttugly ass. A once great philosopher said, “My dog could eat crayons and shit a better design.”

Now playing

That question has been asked before, apparently for the benefit of gigantic human children.

For example look at the tailgate alignment of this Cybertruck spotted on a trail:”

I’d love to, but you didn’t take a picture from far enough away. I can almost see the tailgate alignment.

I must have missed that contest from Tesla that had 10 year olds design their new truck. Woof.

This thing got more gaps than a Soviet car.

Yeah I’m not going to listen to aesthetic advice from a site that falls over itself to applaud Kia / Hyundai for their design choices.

Daily reminder on the daily tesla story; DON’T GIVE THAT NAZI LOVING POS ANY OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, PERIOD.

Turns out if you completely obscure the styling of the Cybertruck it looks much better.

I don’t know if anybody’s noticed before, but Tesla’s truck looks kind of odd.

It definitely helps cover some of the sins from a distance, whereas the bare steel highlights absolutely every issue from a mile away.

So, rather than say using something like Auto-Cad, they used Roblox?  Weird way to cut corners.

If you’re going to show an example of your new vehicle in public, why would you use the most jacked-up prototype you can find?

It will sell quickly to the actual reservation holders but it will not be a success. It’s going to be way too expensive and impractical. The S/X are at least usable as actual cars. My guess is that they just end up shelving this thing after a couple years and re-using the platform for something else, while acting like

I want the damn thing to go sale just so we can talk about it in the past tense...give it the obituary it deserves.

It’s perfect for a Cyberman to carry his Cybermat.
And if you don’t know old school Doctor Who - I’m sorry.

You reminded me, so now you must see it too.

So Cybertrucks have Cybertrunks? (Or I assume that’s what Elon wears when he goes swimming.)

It is.

Everything about this truck is fail. How do you fail at making the simplest vehicle there is?

I have driven at the park many times since I grew up a few miles away. Its way steeper than it looks and lots of off roaders have trouble getting traction there. The additional culprit would be the lack of a real locker or transfer case. It’s a similar issue that Rivian has had. I imagine a lot of tuning of systems
