How many people going to buy a mid size family hauler even ask about 0-60 times? Maybe 10%?

We guess that most people who buy a Chevy know what they’re getting themselves into

“I want to buy a new car, but I don’t want a minivan”

Folks. If people don’t want minivans, they don’t want minivans. If they want to deal with the extra difficulty of loading kids into an SUV, that’s their perogative.

Since every other rec on here will inevitable by Japanese.  How about the new Traverse?

I can distinguish the difference between “interesting when it was released” and “interesting today”.

I cannot figure out why the BoD of Tesla hasn’t put Musk out on his ass yet. They were (as far as I can tell) only keeping Musk around because of his ability to pump the stock price. He has nothing left to offer in terms of tangible benefits to the company, the research or the product. He is now a marketing liability.

The Tahoe and Yukon are junk?  Weird take.

It’s usually the politicians screaming loudest about an issue that least want to fix the issue.  If Republicans pass comprehensive bipartisan border legislation, that’s one less issue they can run on in the next election.  Trump NEEDS the border to appear to be a disaster (both so he can run on it, and staff his swath

This is where my mind always goes. Imagine being the innocent driver just going about their day when this moron makes a mistake and slams into their car.

I gamer as well, but the state of the gaming industry has really shrunk my interest in the hobby.

It shouldn’t surprise me anymore, but the lengths this guy is willing to go to to excuse things that should NEVER be issues in a full production car is astonishing.

It’s funny because I had a similar conversation regarding American food production just yesterday. The government should be busy focusing on lots of things... but those things unfortunately don’t get anyone reelected.

For what it’s worth, I never mentioned anything about reliability.  I think China’s entries into the US market will be perfectly competent and reliable.

Sure. And China has done triple (maybe more) that with a significantly cheaper workforce.

“I knew coming into this truck that it was not going to be a feature complete car”

If the Lions make it to the Super Bowl (and god forbid win), the worker production in the entire state of Michigan will drop to near zero on Monday.  The city of Detroit will be absolute chaos.

Therein lies the problem. It will be extremely difficult for domestic auto makers to compete on price because China is pouring tens of billions of dollars into subsidies to help their EV products dominate the global market. Americans love to complain about or be afraid of China, but when it comes to our pocketbooks,

Because of that, they’ve got a long way to go to win U.S. market share.
