The other part about getting older is that your priorities on where your money is spent can totally change (not for everyone obviously).

So this article is basically just helping him drive more clicks, right?
My thoughts exactly. EV start ups have been on a one way trip to rock bottom for a few years now. But that doesn’t fit the continued narrative that EV’s in the US are doomed. Lucid was over $50/share at one point, Rivian over $100/share, Nio over $50/share, etc. They’ve all been floating around their lows for 2…
Keep clutching on to whatever helps you believe that this transition is happening whether we like it or not.
My thoughts as well. Having Teams on Android Auto doesn’t really change anything. If anything, it makes things safer. People obsessed with work or required to work outside of normal hours already have Teams on their phone and are already staring at their Teams while they drive.
See I disagree. I think the real issue is that these people just aren’t willing to work hard enough. Kids these days and what not.
The only time income inequality has been as high as it is today was the years leading up to the Great Depression and the years leading up to the 2008 Financial Crisis.
It’s insane to me how many staff shortages we have across industries in the US, and we know the solution is just to increase pay/reward, but we’ll do everything in our power to avoid having to pay people more.
I guess it’s fine on backroads, but I could never be that guy in traffic that everyone looks at and just rolls their eyes. I’m just trying to get home from work man, I don’t want to hear that shit. (same goes for loud motorcycles, bass pounding sound systems, etc)
Fart can exhausts or any exhaust that makes you proud of your car exhaust sounding like gun shots.
People buy them because they are DESPARATE to feel like they are part of something in an increasingly lonely world. Social media is pretty amazing. It is simultaneously the biggest driver of loneliness and the rampant desire to purchase a product to “be part of a community”.
There’s no need. Just imagine the current logo, but white. And the top of the H is slightly wider. It barely qualifies “redesigned” and isn’t particularly “futuristic”. Which is fine, because neither are the two Honda vehicles.
If you’re talking about things like backing out of parking spots, sure, I wouldn’t use the rear view camera mirror. For those situations it’s a combination of the back up camera and looks over the left and right shoulder. But for every day driving, the camera mirror is far superior to the traditional rear view…
My EUV has the rear view camera mirror and it works perfectly. I don’t think I’ve ever looked out the actual rear window of the car because there is no reason to.
So the Rav 4 is slowly replacing the Camry as America’s appliance vehicle of choice. Makes sense considering vehicle purchase trends.
Traffic might run at an average of 80 in TX, but since I’ve moved to the DFW I’ve noticed that the biggest issue with TX is the speed differentials between lanes. It’s like nowhere I’ve ever seen before.
“Well he only lowered gas prices because the election is coming up. If he gets elected again, gas will go up to $9/gallon. You’ll see.”
Automakers are only now paying attention to infotainment, partially because they’re not keen on another major company having such a central role in their products.
The difference with the examples you gave is that those were never advertised as self driving. They were advertised as safety features meant to assist a driver in the event of an emergency (or drowsy driving or whatever).
You should ask Cedar Point to build a car wash!
