I see what you’re trying to do here.  It’s an idiotic whataboutism.  But good try!

    I mean... clearly not.

100% agree. There’s little chance this is implemented. And even if it is, it will take decades to phase out vehicles without it.

So do mine, but on a electric vehicles, they are redundant and really only exist because it’s what people are traditionally used to.

Thus far the idea of this tech being mandated has seen largely positive feedback.

Once all new vehicles are fully electric, start/stop buttons aren’t going to be a thing at all anywhere.

Have all Tesla’s with “autopilot” had all these built in safety devices?  Seems like Tesla is the only brand where you still see videos of people sleeping or having sex while the cars “drive themselves”.

The real question is, who has a good vacuum sealer that works well doing wet seals?  I’ve tried two of them now, and both machines always have a lot of difficulty sealing meats in liquid marinades.

The thing is, you don’t even need to bring chicken to your traditional temps in sous vide because it cooks longer at a lower heat. Normally everyone will tell you to do chicken to 160 degrees internal before pulling it from the heat to “be safe”. But with sous vide, you can go as low as 145 and it will drastically

Right?  Inventories and days supply are returning to some sense of normal after years of ridiculous interruption.  Non-story.

Was pulled over at 6:30AM on Gratiot in downtown Detroit on my way to work at the Ren Cen. There is no one on Gratiot at 6:30AM except for a few drugged out zombies randomly pacing around in the center turn lane. I was doing 5-10 over, but the cop saw a young white guy in a fancy car in a place where “I didn’t belong”

It doesn’t help that the staff at Chipotle (and most other fast causal spots to be honest) are actively hostile toward guests.

An EUV with Ultium and updated Super Cruise will be a game changer.  Would love to see them add AWD and WoW mode just for some added fun.  I love my 23 EUV, it’s a blast to drive.

You don’t get to call something a double standard simply because you willfully ignore the hundreds of studies and articles done that say the exact same things about regular full size pick ups.

Why are EV vehicles such an affront to y’all’s souls?

It’s telling that an EV truck that doesn’t exist yet is already more appealing to buyers in the U.S. than what is currently on the market.

I know fixing the personnel gap will take time, possibly years, but do we really need a plane with 200 people on board it to go down in a major American city before anyone in government outside the FAA starts to prioritize this as a real problem?

Quite the opposite actually.  We’ve already had articles and discussions regarding speeding and ISA.  I don’t need the opinion of a bunch of talking head dipshits from Fox News (or from CNN for that matter).  We can have a great discussion without the need to involve them.

I do everything I can in my life to avoid these idiots, and here they are popping up at Jalopnik of all places.

O/U set at 1 for number of plants the UAW is able to unionize.  Taking bets.
