I have my Hue Hub blocked from internet access on my router. I have never had a need to control my lights when I'm not home.

Here’s the REAL story...

They don’t think everyone wants their stuff to glow, thats just their target audience. If you don’t want LED enabled gear, don’t shop a manufacturer that specializes in that.

Who pays bank fees? I'm in my mid 30s and can say the only bank fees I have ever been charged in my life are overdraft fees from forever ago. And overdraft fees are on you, not your bank.

Don't breathe this!

Also depends on the person. I’ve had a smartphone since the iPhone 3 and have never used a screen protector or had a crack. I once had a tiny scratch on my last Note, but that’s it. On the flip side I’ve known people who crack their phones at least once a year.

You shouldn’t need to set up an account to install a game on a physical disk, but these are becoming rare.

Remember the day when games couldn’t get patches and they had to make it work right from day one? #okgrandpa

I think it all depends on the recipient. Me as a techie would love to do the initial setup. Many kids would love to just tear into the games right away.

Just scored this deal. The sweet part is the hub can be easily sold on Offerup for $20 (I’ve done this twice before). Thanks for the link!

So many people just don't get it. When working a phone job in finance I had people get incredibly mad when we locked down their login ID after someone with the correct password logged in with an overseas IP address.

While I completely agree that automatic updates should be installed by default, there should be more user options for scheduling and temp disabling of auto updates. Doing so would give a stern warning, but hell, it's my computer that I built with my bare hands. I should have a choice. I've had several long renders

This is why I would never like or repost random things on Facebook. Why would I promote some random company or page for free? And man, so many people fall for the things like "bet you can't name a color with the letter B in it"

Had a discussion about this at work. It’s amazing that each one of these has a different meaning:

I actually do this daily myself. The hardest part is dealing with the criticism as your neighbors pass by your front yard.

My coffee budget is about $20 a year (one Starbucks a quarter). Not arguing that my expenses are spent elsewhere, just saying I don’t get buying expensive coffees all the time. I’m happy with cheap office coffee mixed with hot cocoa mix.

“He’s like an otter. A sexy little otter.”

I have one cable that’s a power only, no data cable. Forgot what it was and spent 10 mins trying to connect a device to my computer with it. I promptly threw it away.

My daughter's old school banned tag. This is the same school that got rid of those *dangerous* swings.

Maybe don't drink soda. Or have a greasy burger. Or binge watch a TV show. Or go out to the bar. Or get butter on your popcorn. Or stay up super late on a Friday. Or go skydiving. Or be condescending behind your derp pseudonym while judging people for having a vice while everyone does at least one thing in life that's
