I once picked up an old Dell tower from a garage sale for $10. After powering it on the PC name led me to believe it was a computer from a chain furniture store that recently went out of business. Just for kicks I ran a freeware undelete program and was able to pull a TON of old files.

To bring back a past idea I had... The penalty for a data breach for a company should be having the personal details (same that were released in the breach) of the board and execs posted as a link on their website. That'll make some real change going forward.
