I’ve always had the luck at the DMV. Half the things are handled at self serve stations. Anything I’ve had to go in line to took 5 minutes waiting max. And this is in Phoenix.

Why do states offer this second ID instead of bringing their standard ID up to par?

Honest question... my one-way drive to work is 35 miles. Anywhere closer is prohibitively expensive or in a high crime area. What are people in this sitaution to do aside from hitting all the traffic lights for this long stretch?
