People get the financing on their phones with the “free upgrade” option. They get their “free” upgrade after a year, handing in their old phone and resetting their payments to 0. The phone company then turns around and sells that same phone again to someone who is ok with an older model.

The point is to not intentionally stress the phone to drain it further before charging.

I bought my current with the intent of keeping it for years to come.

Charging. You’re doing it right.

Exactly. I have about 500GB of data to back up. The cheapest way I found was to set up a Google Cloud account (you get free trial periods, pay per GB used at a good price) and use the free program Duplicati to link it up. Easy and fully under my control!

Easy as pie!

They’re borrowing against something they do have. Short selling requires margin trading, meaning a good chunk of what he borrowed used his long assets as collateral. The short selling most likely put him into a margin call, meaning he would have had to sell other long positions held in his account, or deposit cash to

Um, yes it is wrong.

That would be a gray area, but if you say “We are switching to widgets which will raise our stock for sure” that’s illegal.

Hmm, I think the Securities Exchange Commission disagrees with your logic.

Imagine you’ve put a good amount into a hand of poker, then the dealer says “Oh! I see that person next to you has a full house!” You fold to mitigate your losses, only to realize you would have won with your three of a kind (or a high ace card to compare it to reality).

Even though Epic claims it will be a few days until non-Samsung devices get their shot at Fortnite, waiting is annoying.

If I masked my phone number and called you, would you answer the number from 888-555-1234, thinking it was a legit call?

lol genuinely curious, what autocorrect is it? iOS? third party app? android?

Tried swype for months, was happy to go back to tap. Just a personal preference. Why are you assuming your way is the best in 2018?

What autocorrect does this?

It’s not necessarily the auto correct, but the auto complete that comes with it. As of my last Android reset my Swiftkey has completed 1,304 words for me. It knows my writing style and the words I use most often and saves quite a bit of time on typing, especially if using just one hand. Instead of typing “necessarily”

My problem is my desk phone at work. I get legit unexpected calls from unknown numbers, so I have to answer it. I get about 6-8 spam calls a day.

I play Fortnite with my daughter all the time. She’s on the Xbox, I’m on the PC in the same room. We work on strategy together, share resources, and cover each other’s backs. It’s a TON of fun!
