I wouldn’t state my current salary, but would say “This is what you’d need to put on the table to make me consider leaving”. That’s fair, doesn’t violate my employment contract (which prohibits disclosing my salary), and makes sure neither of us are wasting the other’s time. My current salary isn’t relevant.

Ditto - my former company would never disclose what they were paying because it made it all that much easier to poach people. It’s one of the main reasons recruiters asked for it first - that way the recruiters could build up a big database of salaries which would give them a competitive edge, even if they never moved…
