This would be a cool car and a bit of a sleeper, but 15k is just too much.

This was awhile ago so I probably have some details wrong.

The panic has definitely reached Western NC/Eastern TN. All the gas stations I drove by in Boone, NC were out of gas last night, and this morning only one gas station in a small town in Eastern TN had gas.

Calling it a machine gun is fine as long as they mention it was modified (illegally) to be a machine gun. An Aero Precision AR Pistol is not a machine gun until you illegally modify it. I think that was the real problem with the description here.

If I needed a car then I would overpay for this one at $3500. Maaayyyybe $4000. This is a cool clean old Camry, but not worth $6200.

It would have been a NP if it was 4wd.

I was part of a group that beta tested a program for Washington state for a mileage based tax. They had a few ways you could record your mileage.

It is a stupid unit of measurement. A football field is 100 yards long and a yard is about 1.1 meters so 700 yards or about 640 meters.

I don’t think it’s really fair to compare the Cherokee Nation with the French. The French are not a marginalized indigenous people group with the same brutal history of massacre, forced relocation, forced re-education, and Institutional Racism leaving them destitute on remote rural reservations without adequate

It’s funny how all the black on the Karsan/Morgan design somehow makes it look less like a USPS vehicle; they’ve been all white for so long it seems like it wouldn’t look right with all of the black parts. It also looked too utilitarian, like they didn’t smooth over the design edges after they made the most utilitarian

My mom had two previas when I was a kid (no supercharger, though) and my brother and I always wanted to buy one of the super charged RWD Previas to make a drift vehicle. Unfortunately, I moved across the country so now he drifts a 535 with a welded rear diff and we can’t live out our Previa drifting dreams.

I only wash my Cool Grey Khaki Crosstrek after they brine the roads here in Boone, NC. I commute about 5 miles daily on a dirt road so I can’t bring myself to do it more frequently than that. When the car gets *really* dusty I spray it down with the hose real quick when I get home from work.

That’s a surprisingly good price for someone who knows what they’re getting into!

It can’t be any more unreliable then the dart was from the factory.

This car needs some TLC, but I would buy it as is for 3k, maybe 3500 after a test drive and have a (probably) reliable, engaging, cheap daily commuter. I might spend 5k if it was very clean, but this isn’t anywhere near a 5k car as it sits.

Thanks for sharing this! I was getting ready to drop almost $100 on a plate and bolt for putting a footpeg lowering kit on my V-Strom because of a rounded bolt, I’ll try a $20.00 tool now!

After looking around, I trust my backup camera. I will check behind me and to the sides after I put my car in reverse, and if they look clear I then rely on using the backup camera to perform whatever maneuver I am engaged in. It accurately displays what is behind me and will show me any small obstructions I would not

I once took my 87 Celica to a car wash to spray down the engine compartment and try to clean up some of the years of build up, but then it would not start, wouldn’t even turn over. The starter was working, but the engine wasn’t firing. After verifying the intake was dry I tried swapping the distributor cap for a new

It’s not as fun as the options in the article, but a lightly used CX-5 would tick all the boxes as well.

Joe Shmoe on this bike it probably isn’t faster, but with the improved aero and suspension give this to a racer and I bet it gets around a track quicker because of those improvements.
