She made a bad decision. Zero doubts about that. You know who else did? All the self righteous assholes giving her such a ridiculous amount of shit.

I mess with Gorilla Glue a lot and the first thought I had was “why not just water down some Curel nail polish remover, mix it with a shampoo/conditioner, and let it sit for a bit?” Then I saw how much GG girl put in her hair and I said to myself, out loud, “shut the fuck up and let the doctor do the work.”

The best part of the happy ending is that it was an intelligent, educated, compassionate Black man who came through with the solution and the skills.

Chemistry at it again. Reminds me that medical fields too often teach robots and don’t embrace creativity, ingenuity, and true empathy.

I saw a short video on YouTube by Daily Gist where it was removed. Seeing a Black surgeon carefully and tenderly attending to a Black woman’s hair and scalp moved me to tears. I was certain her hair was done. He found a way to resolve the problem while preserving what was important to her. It reminded me of the sister

I mean, right?! I’m so happy for this chick and her head!! And thank God for a doctor that likes a challenge and is Up For It! I truly hope she just babies her hair and scalp with nothing but neutral shampoos and conditioners and a smooth, brushed to the back protective hairstyle to give herself a period of rest and

Dr. Obeng makes it sound so simple! Glad he was able to step in and save her scalp and some of her hair.

Exellent. And guess what? She looks really, really cute with short, natural Black person hair.

I am glad her ordeal is over and grateful that the brilliant Dr. Obeng took the lead on resolving (or dissolving) the situation. I hope she sincerely re-evaluates her “look” and the impacts of all the products required to attain and maintain it.

WHY did she never get a full transformation sequence though? just happenstance? she just was never around at the right time and did it off screen?

I believe she is the only one who’s complete transformation is never shown in the original anime. So it's kind of a big deal for Sailor Moon fans.

I’m not saying it's not important. I just wish the article explained why it is important.

by my count, I still need 75 fish.. And like you said, not just the right species, but the right size. It’s daunting to think about.

I love a good fishing minigame (Far Cry 5 had an excellent version, if I remember correctly) but this... I built a massive guide hunting fireflies for this damn game with no discernable

i agree. I recently made a quick chart of what I still needed to turn in and... it sunk me. I intend to finish at least one species a day but... just look at this shit.

The important part about Pinnacle Station was that it let you get Spectre-tier equipment (guns, armor, and mods) for incredibly cheap (220,000 credits instead of millions)

Fine if you need more justification than the half a million images of children being raped he hoarded, I have a PhD in literature and his poem fucking sucks too.

I never understood how people had trouble handling the Mako. You just aim in the direction you want to drive, it wasn’t that hard...

Counterpoint: I am currently trying to get my GF into video games, but she is not the best at, well, using the controller. I am waiting for the remaster to come out before showing her Mass Effect, but I’m pretty sure that if I handed her the controller with the old-school Mako, she’d give up and never want to play

Now playing

Every time I drove the Mako, I inevitably ended up singing this in my head (or out loud)
