Is it just me, or does the photo make no sense? It looks like we’re looking down at the truck crashed into the river through the hole in the bridge, but at the same time we’re seeing the sky? I just can’t quite get my head around it, it almost feels like an AI image generator mashed up several photos of the scene. I

WTF am I looking at? I haven’t seen that before, but it looks like absolute trash.

COTD.

I would assume that it’s not related to the number of theaters, but that the costs for marketing would be more than Lionsgate wanted to invest in the film, due to concerns about the financial return. I.E., they’re fairly confident that they’ll get an acceptable ROI for what it will cost them to distribute the film,

Thank you, came for this, disappointed it’s not the top comment.

I can’t disagree with most of your points, but I’d love to see more of the ideas from Tron Legacy built upon, including Cillian Murphy’s character. I think it had some great ideas but that the writing just wasn’t quite where it needed to be. Nonetheless I really enjoyed it, and second your suggestion of a re-release.

100% this, probably one of my biggest film going regrets. If there was ever a movie that should be seen in the theater, it was definitely Fury Road.

What an extremely strange take. Pretty much all of the advance reactions I’ve see for the film have been glowingly positive. On what possible basis are you concluding fans might find this “mediocre?”

Interesting, that’s not a variety I’ve seen before! I’ll have to keep my eyes out for it.

Honeycrisps are good, and used to be my go to Apple variety, but I prefer either Pink Lady or Cosmic Crisps nowadays. The Cosmic Crisp in particular takes everything that makes the Honeycrisp good and improves upon it.

Hmm, this sounds really fascinating! This has piqued my interest, I’m looking forward to hearing more about the game.

And let’s not forget McConaughey’s final speech in season 1 seems pretty directly lifted from Alan Moore’s Top 10 comic series (Pizzolatto has directly cited Moore as an influence).

As I understand it, Act 1 was in early access, but not anything else, although I’m fully open to be mistaken on that front. As I’ve mentioned, I haven’t reached Act 3 yet so I can’t speak to the state it’s in, although I’d be curious to know if you’ve played it after any of the recent patches (the latest just came out

I kept her alive on 1 playthrough, and she does get better in 3, but that one time was enough for me. It’s Kaidan all the way every other time.

I didn’t start playing it until December after it had seen multiple patches, and while I have encountered various glitches (from relatively minor to some fairly serious ones) and still do to this day (I’m just at the end of Act 2 now), all in all I’ve been extremely pleased with the experience. Perhaps the (well

It’s been many a year since I’ve read the novels, but isn’t Spice basically Sandworm excrement? As I recall, it’s not quite spelled out in those terms, but in the later novels the characters realize that Spice is a byproduct of the worms, so when the planet begins to undergo an ecological transformation, resulting in

I might give this a try; I’m on the go all day for work, so anytime I don’t plan my lunch in advance I tend to order from various value menus. My average portion size is about 5 to 6 ounces, which this sounds like about where this probably lands, and given how little I eat under $4 is my target, so this sounds like

Seconded on the fantastic cast, I really enjoyed everyone on the show, and thanks for the details! I definitely need to sit down, rewatch season 1, and then get caught up on the rest.

I watched season 1 and enjoyed it, but haven’t got back for season 2 and 3 yet, although I’ve been meaning to. I’m curious, does it ever definitively address whether anything supernatural is going on? As I recall, it always hedged it’s stories with the possibility that there were real world explanations for what was

LOL, okay, that most definitely wasn’t the image I expected to see first thing when I loaded Gizmodo today!
