Immense respect to you for keeping at this, despite the willful ignorance others have embraced around the subject! I also have to say, as I’m on season 7 of a rewatch of DS9 right now, I love your screen name!

Wow, it must suck to have someone forcing you to read his comments on the subject! I really feel for you that you suffer so!

You know, I enjoyed SOTE when it came out, but was never super invested in it. This idea, though, is kinda grabbing me, I think I’d dig it! Particularly without Xizor’s stupid ass magic pheromones!

Hell no! The Brian Daley novels are the best! I think out of anything from the expanded universe, they did the absolute best job of capturing Han Solo’s characterization, and really feel like an authentic part of the Star Wars universe, despite not having the Force or the Empire in them. They’re my gold standard for

Yeah, I skipped Splinter too, until years after ROTJ. I still remember how much my mind was blown that there were Star Wars novels the first time I came across Han Solo at Star’s End in a used book store. It was my mission to track down any others there were, which ultimately led me to the Lando novels. I still love

Yes, exactly! There were a few clunkers here and there, but overall it was a really solid run! I think it did an excellent job of bridging the movies in a really intelligent way, particularly as they were in the dark about where the story was ultimately headed. Damn, I think I’m going to have to go dig my collection

YEAH! I was coming down here to make sure that the (original) Marvel comics and the Brian Daley novels got some love! Marvel’s been covered, but you’re the first I’ve seen to bring up anyone from the Daley novels! Of course, you can’t have Blue Max without Bollux! Really, I just want everything from those novels!

Hah, the Lando books never quite felt like Star Wars to me, but I loved them as a kid growing up! Take your damn star!

You are a monster!

Yes! There’s so many awesome characters from the old Marvel comics! While I stopped following the EU years ago (right around when The New Jedi Order books started), nothing ever was as good as the Marvel comics to me. Damn, I just looked up NJO, that was almost 20 years ago...

I have never, ever wanted to give someone all the stars before while reading comments in the kinjaverse! I was coming down here to say this exact thing. The other one from the Marvel comics that stands out for me is Valance the Hunter! Man, I loved those comics so much as a kid!

Yeah, I totally feel like three fourths of the article is missing! I reloaded the page twice just to be sure I wasn’t missing something.

Guess that’s what I get for not paying enough attention! I had never heard the rumor, it sounds like that way leads to madness!

If it’s worth anything coming from an internet rando, it’s definitely possible, but you need an insane amount of stamina to make it up there. I’ve done it once (on the PS3 HD release, if I remember correctly). I don’t know how many times I tried before I ever made it...

I gave it a try knowing how poor the reviews were, but went in to it with an open mind, as it was something I was definitely interested in (I was hoping it would be a distant spiritual cousin to Alan Moore’s “Top 10,” which I think is absolutely fantastic). However, I shut it off after 20 minutes or so, as it was just

Oh my god, I don’t laugh at much on the internet out loud, but this one got me! I know that this had to have been faked, but there’s a perverse part of me that wishes this was real!

This list is wrong and you should feel bad. I mean, sure you got Ezio right, but how hard is that one?

Outside temp in the teens, house at 60, usually just my underwear (occasionally a top & socks, but that’s the exception, not the norm) and two lightweight blankets on the bed, and I still get sweaty during the night sometimes. My body temp isn’t especially warm normally, so I don’t know why it’s different at night...

Holy fuck, she’s just a terrible piece of crap. I mean, I already knew she was, but I usually steer clear of anything to do with her and Fox News as much as possible, so I’ve never actually seen it laid out like that. Fuck her, and fuck NBC for giving her a forum to try to present herself as something else.

I don’t generally talk about my family background much, as there are a number of unknowns about my family history, and conflicting information about our ethnic heritage, so in a number of ways it’s an uncomfortable subject for me to discuss. However, I admit that I certainly was not raised in a way that I have a
