And here it is, the accusation of racism because your arguments are completely without merit. And the reading comprehension is even more ironic when the readily available literature from countless mainstream sources directly contradicts the fantasy world in which you appear to live.

Just the fact that an option package is referred to as “spasm” is nearly enough to make me want it.

The worst thing is that there is a lot of legitimately new and useful EV tech in there that could have catapulted Tesla back to the top of sales charts if it had been put in actually useful body style.

+1

Yeah, I’d say this is worse than all the other RBR drama. The details of the case are just gruesome too; apparently he dragged the body for 300+ feet before he fled the scene. He was actually charged with 3 crimes, but the statute of limitations on two of those has already expired, and in 2020 all the charges against

I believe he was charged, but he was able to flee to Singapore where they have been letting him hide out as long as he doesn’t break any of their laws.

Similarly, that AWD/4WD cars are better at stopping in snow

I just taught my 25-year old son to drive a manual.

I need a three row 6000 pound SUV because I have a kid and a dog.

Yea, that is my feeling too. I don’t like Elmo at all, but what he said isn’t wrong. PIF invested in twitter/X, and maybe (?) tried to buy Tesla? But they invested in Lucid early on and have essentially been their lifeline since then when it comes to access to capital.

Saw my first one last week and it is indeed a great looking little SUV. I just have zero interest in being an early adopter of an expensive product from what may be a zombie company in the not too distant future.

Yea, I agree that it looks good overall in photos. But I have seen a few in person and something just looks...off to me. Not really sure what it is. I drive past one almost every day near my kid’s school and something doesn’t work in person through my eyes.

Absolutely. When I was a teenager most of the economy cars and beaters we drove maybe had 75 horsepower. I remember the day I bought my 1996 Tacoma ( Still own it ) and mashed the gas pedal it felt like going into warp speed since it has a smokin’ 135 Horsepower.

So the bottom line here is sometimes there is good Karma and sometimes there is bad Karma.

The floor is Magna.

I don’t mind Tesla, I will never own one because I think they all look like a generic computer mouse from the 90's, but the CyberTruck is the most useless vehicle ever made.

Right? Jalopnik has become just as insufferable and unapologetically progressive (in the worst way possible) as the rest of the former Gawker properties have been for a while. Shame, this was once such a top notch, car enthusiast-oriented blog.

I was lucky enough to find a CPO V90 R-Design and I’m floored by its styling every time I walk out to it. Inside and out, it’s a beautifully finished car that’s simultaneously striking and subtle in a way that I rarely see on modern cars.

My neighbor (2022 V90 XC) pulled the cladding due to a careless jackass slicing it with their front-end loader dropping mulch in the driveway. Simple enough replacement but it looked truly odd because of the ride height making the wheel well look silly.

Next thing you know they will be doing an expose on the shocking news that Aston Martins depreciate like bricks too...
