I really enjoyed craft beer when I drank, lots of delicious flavors that you just can’t get in wine. I’m not sure I would want a chocolate wine either. Plus, beer is actually much, much less alcohol by volume than wine. Like wines are 11% to 13%, but most beers are at 5% or even 3%. It takes a lot more beer to get

The Temperance Movement! I just thought of that, yah that was OUR thing! Lol how we have changed, first we have an axe wielding woman busting up saloons and now the saloons market to us.

I’m sorry, but that isn’t true. Lots of alcoholics have no idea its a problem, most don’t in fact. Many people I knew in my addiction group only got help when friends or family practically forced them to, and then lots of us didn’t really accept it until our addiction counselor walked us through it.

I had the hardest time getting sober, and one of the parts that people didn’t get was I wasn’t addicted to the “normal” alcoholics drinks. I didn’t do vodka, or straight anything. I did cocktails, wine (lots of red wine), and only occasionally a beer. I used to have three glasses of wine a night at one point. And if I

Get help! There is no shame in it, we’ve been drowned in marketing for decades now and its all on TV and in movies and in songs and its fucking everywhere. It’s like walls painted shades of off-white, literally no one notices because its so prevalent. Unlike an off-white wall, alcohol is bad for us though.

I don’t disagree with any of that. The problem isn’t that women are drinking as much as men, its that women used to be drinking a FRACTION as much as men. Even back in the bad old days of the 1950s and 1960s, women were not drinking as much. It’s that we are gaining on men, and FAST.

That doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be a concern. We didn’t WANT women to start drinking as much as men.

Asking the real questions.

THIS. The Wine industry fucking disgusts me. For years whenever I travel I see post cards that say “if only there was wine,” t-shirts at stores say shit like “the only thing getting me through the day is wine,” and its you can see it in TV, Movies, etc as if being an alcoholic is acceptable because life is hard.

Upvote for doggo.

Except in the case I mentioned above and practically every shooting in America.

When fucking Macklemore looks more real hip-hop than today’s rappers, today’s rappers ain’t shit.

I was speaking more generally: Louis had a misstep, sure, but in general he was really good.

That’s actually his opinion of Jared’s character too:

It isn’t how careers should die though. Read the Hollywood Reporter article: the narrative that Bobby is spinning and what is in the article are two different things.

Ok I actually read the Hollywood Reporter article and the narrative Bobby’s article makes and what is actually in the article are completely different. Here are some other things written in that Hollywood Reporter article:

He was the best part of Silicon Valley and now he is gone. He was also in Deadpool and had a stand up special on HBO that was good. Well, it was better than Amy Schumer’s last stand up special which is the last stand up routine I watched, but it wasn’t like Louis CK good or anything.

On one hand, I do so of hate that Hollywood requires people to be humble all the time.

I’m certain there is an indie flick with this exact plot.
