@Tony Bullard: That was real helpful. I did read the article but, aside from the widgets, I don't see anything really to distinguish this app. Was hoping for some more help from the commenters to see if I just missed something here.

So, as a Mac user, what does this offer over iTunes?

"RamBack is not available for MacOS X." :(

Personally, I hate the way Windows does it when I'm on my work computer. I much prefer the way the Mac handles scrolling and cursor movement.

This is not news. FARK pretty well covered how lame this guy is: [forums.fark.com]

@EvanHamilton: Sweet! I'm looking forward to Flock 2, then. Unfortunately 1.1 was just too slow with the old Gecko engine on my laptop. Looking forward to the alpha.

Is this running the latest Gecko (1.9 I think)? If not, it's not worth it to me.

Eh. Just load up a PDF, minimize when the boss comes in. Even better, keep 'em on a USB drive so they don't get stored on your work PC at all.

I still don't "get" Quicksilver. I've tried it three or four times and it just hasn't clicked with me. Can anybody explain how this is useful?

I'm just dying for Camino to get all these features. FF3 is nice for better MacOS integration, but it just can't touch Camino. The only thing I miss from FF3 right now is the del.icio.us browser plugin for managing my links. If someone could hack it to work in Camino, I'd be in heaven.

@black_rabbit: I think the point is to have a running chart of what you've been doing. Which could be done on a spreadsheet, but this way you can just send the data from your average cell phone and it's automatically done for you.

I'd recommend only using it on an Intel Mac. My poor Powerbook G4 (867 mhz) beachballed and sat there while this app tried to convert an AVI video and upload it. Had to force-quit, or it probably would have taken all night.
