on the contrary, i would actually love to see some serious fucking directing talent brought into the MCU- it’s a Juggernaut (bitch) across a ton of platforms, and i would love to see some hard core artistry applied to it.

I feel like Marvel is kind of beneath DuVernay’s calibre, especially since the studio seems to get in the way of whatever vision a director might take (see: Edgar Wright on Antman). But I trust her, and Chadwick Boseman has proven his talent several times over (especially in last year’s Get On Up), so this just jumped…

Passing laws against online harrasment seems like an easy way to score some good publicity. AFAIK nobody powerful is opposed to such laws. Murderous cops, on the other hand, have a lot of defenders.
