I’m black and in IT. I think women, and ESPECIALLY black women, have it the absolute worst in IT. There’s quite a bit of diversity in the department and company I’m in (and it’s a massive one) for men. But the number of women is staggeringly low. We have more black men than all women. So I just wish you all the best.

My job and career has been mostly around women but I do notice that any halfway competent white man shows up, he’s always on the fast track to promotion and leadership roles. As a white person, it generally seems like the people screaming “white supremacy” the loudest are also generally the worst specimens of the race (as well as of the whole species).
