This is an interesting design. Although I don’t have much knowledge about the gunships, I noticed these aircraft could use 2 extra fuel tanks between the engines.

It is true the F-104 is really the fastest plane. Living near Hill Air Force Base, you could hear some amazing stories about fighter aircraft.
