@Mike the Dog: Agreed, it's a sweet symphony of Ferrari V-12ness in a decieving package. Nonetheless it's a great video!

@Mike the Dog: Looks like it was a mercedes 450SEL 6.9 - Which methinks is a gas V-8. [en.wikipedia.org] This is dissapointing, I was picturing a V-12 Ferrari while watching the clip.
@Alexandre Korda: That was a might bit insane...I must ask, what was he driving, it sounded marvelous!
@BlueRSX: It's been done: [forums.vwvortex.com]
@tek_nic: Altitude, yes. As we all know forced induction engines (like the GT-R) suffer less power loss as elevation increases because they can compensate with compressing the ambient air. The Viper is a naturally aspirated engine and suffers more power loss at higher elevations than a turbocharged car.
@bluecoupe: Edit Button Please... By the title I was expecting the Viper to run in the high 12's, hardly. I'll stand by my previous statement, there are too many variables to consider here (altitude, driver skill, engine temp, etc.).
11.12 to an 11.86...Stomped? Hardly a comprehensive comparison, this shows one run with unknown variables...I'm not convinced in the least
R8 TDI Matt? Umm...diesel R8, I must have missed that one.
I'll take the turbo 4-pot....if it's a solid bottom end 210 hp ought to be able to be massaged quite easily. And it's a decent looking RWD sports car, what more can you ask for?
@SakinaCabiri: It vaguely reminds me of the mondeo - I like it, or at least the front 1/3rd.
@Murph5000: No, you are most certainly not the only one that doesn't like how it looks....it's fugly! *Maybe* pictures don't do it justice so I'll reserve final judgement for when I see it on the street. But Nissan isn't doing much for me on the first impression!
altezza lights
I love me some eagle talon...mine's an electric blue 1g. Baby on the way though - talon on the way out. Gonna miss that car!
@muhnkee_2: There is a cab to body passage, so you don't have to leave the vehicle to get in back. Check it out for yourself on the company's website, under the "access to body" heading on the information page.
The crowning acheivement (and feat I hope to never do again) was re-building the head in my talon - did the timing belt at the same time. This was back in college and I did it in my spare time in a dimly lit and drafty garage in the Colorado winter.
@long_live_the_E36: awd... 6000 rpm, stop to 30 in a lot faster that most. Just don't do that too many times, it might void the warranty. What...wait, that's the GTR...
plymouth prowler meets lotus 7? But seriously, this is one cool track day special....or any day special for that matter!
don't suppose they'll be coming to our shores though...
I'm actually impressed, Honda have made an attractive car out of it! I mean, compared to the prius, this thing is gorgeous. And at $18K everyone else is going to have trouble competing.
Looks a little less awkward now!
