@LateralGPhotography: maybe it was only 4 months ago not a year like I thought...my memory isn't what it used to be.
I remember seeing this exact thing a year or so ago, it was definately on an EVO. Is it verified that this is from an EVO X and not the last time this happened on another EVO? Is anyone following what I'm saying?
@cassiusklee: "The 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona ... Buddy Baker in his Dodge Daytona was the first driver in NASCAR history to break the 200 mph mark."
WOW, 20mm's open up quite the holes....I wonder what the inside of the suburban looks like!
I'm not down with my car giving me tetnis, so I voted flames.
@turbo zero: I'm glad I'm not the only one in that school of thought. There's just something about a V-12, a certian prestige that you don't have with a V-8. It's the same reason you look at a Mercedes SL to see if it's a lowly SL500 or a SL600 with a mighty V-12. I'm sure this thing will be as wild as the first one,…
teh hotness...but I'm a little disappointed that they're dropping a few cylinders. I know it'll still make big power but it seems that much less exotic. It's Italian exotica, it needs a crazy powerplant to fit its character.
" a gathering held in Inglewood, California. " ???? I'm pretty sure I heard Denver, Colorado in that report and the reporter singed off as 9news...which is a major Denver TV channel.
Looks like he was just trying to recreate that scene from "Smokey & the Bandit" to me. +1 for good air in a grand marquis, -1000 for doing it on a high school practice field.
1G talon - Mine. Everytime I'm on a dirt road I have this thought. I know it's kind of conventional because guys have been rallying these for awhile now but it just feels right on dirt.
how did the porsche's glass targa top not break?
I LOVE these cars, used to be in a DSM club and a guy always showed up with his red Conquest...not only did it look great it was #1 hoonmobile. There's a white one that showed up at the back lot of the building next to my office in the last couple of days, I can't help but daydream over it.
Forget Elenor, I never liked that boatish generation of mustang anyway!
Back in college we burried a roommates Geo Metro in snow after a big storm & made it look like an igloo.
There's a DOT's cantidate near one of my jobsites in Denver, right where I park there's a AMC Marlin that sits on the street. I'll have to remember my camera next time I'm down there
I'm ashamed to say....I own this.
28K to uglify a LP640? In production trim it's stunning, why glue a body kit onto it?
@Lounatic: I understand that but it doesn't change that it's meh to me. Isn't a halo car supposed to generate interest in a brand? If people aren't that interested in your halo car then how interested can they be in the brand? As a halo car I don't think it gets the job done, the CTS and CTS-V (imho) generate more…
The owner of our company has an XLR, he parks it right in front of the front entrance. It's one of 2 or 3 where I live and to me it's not that exciting. I don't see this thing selling well, its just kinda...meh
