lol something like this happened at a theater I worked at years ago. The projectionist accidentally started “Shutter Island” instead of “How to Train Your Dragon”. Big whoopsie, lots of angry parents. 

I used to be a projectionist when the cinemas still used 35mm reals and this happened to us as well. It was usually because of an error when un-mounting the movie. It’s quite easy to tag the wrong trailer with the tag of a different one or to miss the cut-off between 2 trailer and roll both together.

The movie critic character giving out three or four of something, and then tacking on something random, is a pretty direct rip off of On Cinema. Like even the cadence is the exact same. Couldn’t believe it when I saw it.

I can’t be the only one relieved not to find myself in there.

this is the second season of the US celeb version. last year they did it as stunt counter-programming to the olympics. Apparently this year is a total mess behind the scenes. I had a grapefruit for the first time today (had one as a kid and HATED it and have stayed away since). It’s actually alright! I would say fifth best fruit behind Blueberries, Bananas, Oranges and Granny Smith Apples. 

I think it’s Maya Rudolph, not Margaret Cho. I’ve heard Cho sing, she’s not that good.
