I’d totally have two cats—they definitely do better in pairs (for the most part)— but there are some condo rules that I can’t get around, and kitty and I go see Mr Pies and the puppy on weekends/holidays, where a two-pet rule applies.

I’m mostly sad that the kitty sleeps alone in an office at night. My cat basically curls up beside me in bed, or sleeps between Mr Pies’ ankles and prevents him from moving. She chirps and pokes us in the face at 0420 to demand pets. She cries when she finds herself alone in a room and doesn't know where I am.

True, they are conventionally attractive, and 39 is not “old”. But neither is it young, and that’s really the only point I had...if people live, on average, to their 80s, then 40 is by default middle-age.

I’d consider it an anomaly, in that most 39 year old ladies can’t get those roles. She’s lucked out for various reasons (and her bizarro statements may speak to her ignorance of that luck)

I’d never consider 39 to be either young or relatively young for film actors. Or anyone, really, considering that 40 is the classic Middle Age.

Electrolysis is waaaaay more affordable* than any of the others, though I do advocate for fixing teeth as per their usefulness.

Ever tried electrolysis? I started getting stiff chin hairs (probably hormone) and zapping them, while about as fun as it sounds, has been really effective.
