I just made friends with a younger woman who’s heart is hurting from family rejection. Not her Mom though, her mom is lovely.

True story. Back when I was car privileged, and had a newborn and a still non-English speaking pre-husband, I went to the Brazilian butchery in Allston and parked my ass as far from the store as possible, as I was still able bodied, and despite the constant mess of blood, milk and hernia I was walking in.

College is a club for rich kids. The college wing of my family doesn’t talk to the farmers.

We got kicked out of a basketball court when I was a teenager by cops because “you’re not from here” (too black in an Italian hood).

I’m super thrilled by this, for the kids especially. We travel for over an hour to go to a fully inclusive pro-LBGT parish (in the People’s Republik) but I haven’t found a good mosque. NYC rules there.

I wish I hadn't, because I think I'm picturing tripe, but yeah.
