I dated a guy who’s parents had a ‘no secrets’ marriage, so he thought that’s what a ‘real relationship’ was like. It took years to break him of that belief. Especially since his parents had a terrible marriage and were incredibly unhappy together...why would you model that marriage at all?

I felt similarly—it’s *qualifying.* I kept getting so scared everyone who got a 90 in the first round was going to get hurt doing a second. I know nothing about snowboarding, but I’m worried the finals will be anticlimactic AF after that qualifier.
