It seems like a Nazi artifact is found somewhere really surprising every few years or so. They really seemed to be almost everywhere at some point during the war. If you look hard enough, you can probably still find some original Nazis still alive and kicking down in South America.

Yeah. I still don’t think he actually faked the bloody sock. But I now believe he is the type of person who would do it.

let me state clearly...Schilling is a clown and I am in no way a fan....but not sure this “solves” or even adds additional evidence to whether or not Schilling had a real bloody sock. It seems like the writer is pointing out “hey see this one time Curt behaved like an insecure tool” equates to  “he’s full of shit

Parents on social media are fucking crazy. I steer clear of my mom’s facebook because she’ll be like, “After this latest school shooting, what do we do? Are guns really the answer?” Like very non-confrontational (mom-ish basically) and she’ll get just a slew of “This isn’t about guns, it’s about America aborting

Some say he’s still falling today...

If it weren’t for cynical, pessimistic, nitpicking, second-guessing, short-tempered, name-calling assholes like me, then folks like Joe Maddon couldn’t pat themselves on the back for being so positive all the time.

You’re welcome, Joe.

No, guy.

Also, other mobile/tough to sack QBs like Big Ben similarly take dangerous hits that go unflagged, but would surely be called if they were done to a pocket passer statue like Brady or Manning or Brees. Refs have a pretty obvious bias against calling roughing on the bigger, stronger QBs, as if they don’t think they

Interesting exact period of time you selected, wonder why?

Beyond everything that everyone else just said, Cam Newton is no longer starting his career. He’s been around for years, and his style of play is well known.

That looks like a clean hit on Brady; he was out of the pocket and it only looked bad cuz his helmet flew off. The hit wasn’t to his head or anything. Cam was hit worse than that like 3 times in the Denver game alone

You’re an idiot. Newton’s gotten hit like that a ton of times - and not gotten penalties called. He’s not griping about getting hit, he’s griping about illegal hits on him not getting penalized. It’s a legitimate gripe.

In the clip you provide, Tom Brady is scrambling for yards and is already past the line of scrimmage. On the other hand, Newton is specifically complaining about hits occurring inside the pocket. I don’t know what you’re trying to prove.

Why stop there? Players used to die regularly on the field before helmets. If Newton had been playing 110 years ago, he’d probably be dead now. Want to avoid that fate? Get a time machine.

Back when Brady began his career the rules were different. Also he wasn’t throwing there

The rules have changed since when Tom Brady started his career. Come to think of it, the hit that got Newton fired up is similar to the one that knocked Brady out for the entire 2008 season. All Newton did was demand that the current rules be enforced for him.

I keep seeing this Ian Rapoport tweet making the rounds:

Nobody knows software better than our friends at Lifehacker

It’s referred to several times in the article as well as in the headline as a gaming laptop. I can’t personally consider anything with an integrated GPU to be a gaming laptop. I suspect some wires got crossed when they were trying to figure out how to market this platform.
