I tried my hand at selling cars in the early 90's. New and used cars at a Toyota dealer known for moving new cars.

I feel no pity for this woman. Not once in the chat log was there anything alluding to rape, just the song. The rape portion of the song wasn’t even what they were joking about. The guy apologized MULTIPLE times, and yet she still felt the need to email Tim Cook (who by the way won’t read this petty crap anyways

.

Then the whole premise of the article was pointless-I saw a headline that implied “packing a day-pack” and this is “packing for a very serious excursion.” I think most of us came here for advice on what to pack for a typical hike into the countryside; instead, we got advice on how to pack when hiking the highest

I’ve taken less first aid equipment for a week off trail in the Sierras... if you’re actually CLIMBING Mount Rainier, I could see needing that and more, but for a day trip, I’d go with a fair bit less. And your list really underemphasizes one of the most important things: warm clothes and shelter. All the pills,

I don’t even have a joke. That was awesome. Hope he’s not punished for it

That was fantastic.

I am amazed at how childish the anti-gawker argument it. Its the “you did one thing bad, so all things you do must be bad” type of thinking that not even children subscribe to yet its amazing how many adults do.

Unless you’re going cross country and alone, I’d pare that carry down quite a bit. Basic first aid kit, emergency rations, water & filter, multi-tool, flashlight, and fire starter.

That’s waaaaaay too much stuff. A bag of granola, water, knife, and a lighter is all you need.

To be fair, I’ve written some of that stuff here, and it’s true—credit cards can help you. But I think it’s easy to take that too far, too (some people actually think revolving a balance is good for your score). That’s partly why I wanted to cover this post. It seems counter to a lot of credit-related stuff we’ve

It should be a standing rule to not delete anything that reveals Chuck Johnson to be the piece of shit that he is. There should be a “Chuck Johnson Provision,” whereby it is considered illegal to NOT publish personal details about him.

Jesus. It’s disheartening how many people here are the protagonist in “First they came. . . “ I really hope all ya’ll who think the First Amendment shouldn’t have to protect things you find unpalatable never have to live in the world you’re asking for.

There’s a lot of commenters on here that are praying for your demise. Just want to say there’s plenty of people that do not wish that in any way and that indeed support your decisions as a union. Ethics are incredibly important and the fact that mistakes have happened in the past does not mean you have to be doomed

100%. I cringe when I hear people talk about how the credit cards help their credit, when I know they’re carrying balances over month to month. Credit cards are good, and they can even be great if you get one of the ones with decent perks, but I do everything in my power to pay those suckers off every single month.

I hate that “Well if you’d played better, you wouldn’t be in a position to be beat by a bad call” bullshit.

Just like Duke and Miami last year, you can be objectively fucked by incompetent officiating, costing you a victory, and the only action a conference will take is to cover its ass and appear Very Serious. It won’t train or evaluate the officials they use. It won’t monitor or grade them. It won’t hire them, as

There really should be nothing to it. After all, the NCAA takes wins away from programs retroactively when they’re penalized for recruiting and other violations, so in this case, when changing the outcome is so simple, I can’t imagine why they aren’t doing that.

+1 wet blanket (full of cholera)

Funny thing is this total set of fines probably doesn’t even cover the amount of money that WF made from these accounts.
