Just out of morbid curiosity, what's the long term storage capabilities of these things? I know the magnetic disk/platter method is no good after 10 years or so, and tape is still the golden child. But where does this solid state technology rank for archiving and backup purposes?

More often than not I've boarded from the middle. First class passengers to the left, us regular people to the right. What I have always wondered is why there aren't two walkways on larger jets, sorta like you see with boats and trains. Let first class have their own, and then the rest of us can still board/deboard
