Guys seriously, can we just for ONCE, give props to Taylor when she does something right? You don’t have to crown her Queen of Jezebel, but legit, this was a good thing she did. Today I’m thinking of all her LBGT fans who must be feeling real fucking awesome about their fave sticking up for them politically in this

And I’m allowed to make fun of you for having a silly opinion. See, everyone’s allowed here.

You: I think this person is hilarious, and also I like most of their politics, but they also have a brother who doesn’t like unions, so you can see the pickle I’m in.

Nah. Give it OutKast, Migos, etc. Cardi B can only come on stage if she joins Offset.

Thank you. And these are inappropriate tweets for someone who is supposed to be coming down from on high making pronouncements we take as even and unbiased. Their being inappropriate doesn’t mean the tweets are indefensible within context, it means at the upper level you rise above the trash.

What’s with Jez’s clickbait headlines today? This is the third headline that it utterly belied by the content of the story. The Times (for all it’s many, many, MANY faults) didn’t capitulate to the racist trolls, it literally stood by her .

The headline doesn’t seem to match the story? “Capitulates” suggests they fired her, when they actually released a statement of support. Total clickbait.

Look if you go out and see what he tweeted you’ll be pissed he got 2 films in. Everyone involved in this deal is a fucking scumbag.

Whatever. I can just imagine John B. snarking out of the side (and front) of his mouth about his relatives’ greed and utter lack of shame.

hated that song when it first came out... then my daughter discovered it 10 years later and played it to death for 6 months....

That’s an opinion piece, not New York Times reporting.

I’m not sure you need to “vet” a piece by Professor Amar, perhaps the preeminent constitutional scholar in the country. I disagree with him, and so does the Times’ own editorial board, but it doesn’t mean his perspective isn’t worth reading.

I mean, if my life is dependent on electricity, I would maybe take a little time to learn about it. Or reach out to organizations that deal with that sort of thing.  It’s not like this poor woman just suddenly was put on oxygen or had trouble paying her utility bill.  Seems fair to ask why daughter didn’t do more

took me 5 min of googleing and my moms not even on life support lol

For the record electricity companies cant shut off electricity if the consumers took the proper steps to get protection.

Not paying your electricity bills and having it shut off = NAZI Germany. ok

Terrible. At the same time tho, maybe dont fuck around on paying bills when your life depends on it. Electricity companies arnt charities

I kind of hate that you can have any amount of straight bubblegum pop songs about the most vapid relationships ever, but we get like 2 queer pop songs on the radio annually, and they have to somehow be like the perfect representation of all queer experience. Maybe this is the queer “Genie in a Bottle” or something.

Some of those Democrats will likely vote with Democrats on other key issues. Healthcare, (maaaybe) gun control, blah blah other stuff

Comey’s response to why he reopened the email investigation is woefully inadequate. What he’s telling us is that if he didn’t think Hilary was going to win, then the case wouldn’t have been reopened, which indicates that pursuing justice wasn’t his motivation.
