Come to IL and listen to the traffic on the news/radio. The names are not on the signs, you just have to know which one is which.

Back in 2002, I had a rental Suzuki Aero SX that was surprisingly fun to drive. It was gutless and the auto trans was boring, but that thing was fun to drive around Detroit for a weekend. I even went as far as to test drive a new manual one after that trip, but it wasn’t for me.
You should check out the AMS Performance Hearse:

Picked up a CPO 2017 GLI with 9k on it this weekend for a steal. Tornado Red and manual! I really wanted a GTI, but the few extra inches of rear legroom will make hauling the family (7.5 yr old twins) easier. I think the hatchback of the GTI would have been more useful, but the trunk on the GLI is huge! I read this…
I purchased a CPO 2017 Jetta GLI this weekend. The dealer detailed the car, but their guys (and the PO) neglected the exhaust for the 9800 miles that they owned the car. It took me all of 6 minutes, with a bottle of degreaser, some #0000 extra fine steele wool and they look brand new again.
Still obsessed with it: Toyota MR2. I was 7 or 8 when I first saw the MR2 . IT was either at the 1985 Chicago Auto Show or at a Toyota Dealer later that summer, when my dad bought a Corolla GTS (hatchroku!) Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed. I’ve owned 4 of them over the years (89 Supercharged, 91 Turbo, 91 NA, 93…
Sounds about right, I did it in my bone stock 08 G35xS
They did an AR display at the Chicago Auto Show earlier this year. I got a free Nissan branded “VR” cardboard phone holder out of it.
Recently, Adam Carolla has gone on a rant about this topic on his daily podcast. His suggestion is to have a 1 gallon hopper at the bottom of the gas tank, and you get a warning when you have exactly 1 gallon of gas left. I
the 93+ got different suspension geometry to try and fix this along with a different rear subframe. OEM 93+ also had larger (15's instead of 14's for the 91-92) and wider tires to help combat this.
That Evo must have been built on a Monday or a Friday, AMIRITE?
bear with me on this one, but I think it will be worth it.
I suspect Lewis Hamilton put it there after, well, you know. ;)
As a former detailer, I can verify this. The clearcoat will start to etch pretty quickly and you’ll have marks in the paint now.
I was just about to post the same thing. No car shopping on Sunday’s here in IL. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/editorials/ct-sunday-car-sales-edit-0516-20150515-story.html
Hey Niki, with all the $ you get from Mercedes, can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE buy another shirt? I’m tired of seeing you in that stupid blue and white checkered shirt at every race. If you’re gonna wear the same thing, why not wear the same uniform shirt that the rest of the folks wear?!?!?!?!
Thanks! Sold that car in 2008 and I miss it everyday (except for hot humid days - no AC)
As a former multiple time MR2 owner (and someday again) and enthusiest, I don’t remember seeing those mats nearly as often as I remember seeing this rear window decal pop up occasionally on the MR2 forums.
