“did they also fake the moon landing?”
“did they also fake the moon landing?”
“You bastard!”
Colin Robinson is like a dark version of Les Nessman.
Is this review missing a paragraph or sentence? I see the following passage ending abruptly:
I suppose, but even in real life if you are as hot as Jodie Comer you get away with a lot
A little late to the party here, but I’m finally binging this series and loving it. And for some reason, this was my favorite episode so far. I think I just feel a little more oriented now that I have a handle on all the main characters, and can focus on how intrigued I am by the mystery. I enjoy the way the main…
They did actually show the different versions of the branched off simulations very briefly during the conversation between Forest and Lily in the field at the end. Did you notice how several times during Forest’s speech the lighting abruptly changed to a very dark / orangish color? I took that as Devs showing the…
Yeah, and I thought the “Love Story” theme part was definitely intended to be funny. I mean, that music is cinematic shorthand for schmaltzy romance...and Caleb was gazing at Dolores as she mowed down minions with a machine gun. It got a chuckle from me.
I just finished the episode and was about to post how great I thought the intro was, just to come across your “rather annoying, too-high-art-for-me-to-appreciate” remark. I can understand it maybe wasn’t for everyone, but that was a rather annoying, too-dismissive-for-me-to-take-the-rest-of-your-comments-seriously…
yes the show made it clear
For the love of God, Gustavo!
For a second, I really thought she was going to bust the Cards of Appropriate Dialogue out again. But oh man, the explanation for that would’ve been worse for poor Graham, no?
GRAHAM: So where did you get those?
DOCTOR: My friend Clara, she made them for me
GRAHAM: And where’s she, then?
DOCTOR: ... I’m going to lean…
Rosa-Amy teamups (the sleuth sisters!) are always highlights, absolutely without exception, and Rosa trying to help Amy pee was definitely one.
She experiences time the same way Dr Manhattan does!
I never knew how much I wanted to hear Werner Herzog say libation, but now that I have I feel much more fulfilled.
I can’t take credit for this idea, but I really want Susan to be some big beefy dude and when he meets 13 they’re like “Susan?” “Grandfather?”
I'm so glad I'm not as bitter as you are, as a grown adult, about a children's show.
I kind of like it for that very reason. I think we came in with different expectations, and I’m kind of digging the Have Gun - Will Travel vibe. It’s clearly not prestige TV nor is it trying to be (or at least if it is, then it’s failing upwards IMO) and for me it’s nice to just have kind of a solid B old-fashioned…
It was a Firefly episode, and it was a whore house.
Exactly! It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia was better back when it was known for its subtlety!
