You actually can’t even enter, not get selected, and go back at this point. You can go through the combine and get assessments on where you’d be drafted, but there is a hard deadline prior to the draft by which you have to either remain in the draft and lose you eligibility or withdraw. Allowing players to retain

Kyle Anderson with a wet jumper (which Dincic has) is a really good player.

Take that shit somewhere else.

Eh, maybe not. Seemed to be a lot of Russ love (deservedly, I think) after he shot 43% (17-39) in the Game 5 comeback in Round 1 vs. the Jazz. For better or worse, LeBron just gets held to a higher standard than anyone else. Even he admitted he played poorly, so I think he holds himself to a similar standard.

It’s always good to remember that when two assholes are fighting we don’t have to be on either of their sides.

Are you familiar with extreme sports? “The exhilaration of survival” is, like, the whole thing.

The Celtics. But how much of that can be attributed to Kyrie? They seem to be doing pretty well without him, and did pretty well without him last year as well.
And just so we’re clear, are you really arguing that Kyrie is better than LeBron? That he has more impact on winning? If not, what is your point? If so, please

There were a few years there that they had Kyrie without LeBron. Do you need reminding how those went?

My wife starting singing about the “eensie-weensie spider” instead of the “itsy-bitsy spider” to my one year old and I about had an aneurysm. We consulted google and, to my shock, she did not actually make up that butchered version, though mine is the clear majority view (in the US, at least). I counted this as a mark

Now playing

Once you’ve sliced and scored it, instead of popping the skin side in and cutting off the chunks incdividually, you can just slide it along the rim of an empty, thin-rimmed, wide-mouthed glass to free your hunks. Works like a charm. You can also do it without the scoring and just get a nice hunk of mango, which you

Patagonia makes really nice stuff and is one of the more socially-responsible companies in the world. Not sure why wearing their stuff makes me a douchebag. Not really like North Face, which (smartly, for its part) shifted from catering primarily to people who needed technical outdoor gear to those (many more

I think we’re interpreting the story differently. My interpretation was that they told her they couldn’t pay for the actual shoot (like hourly or piecework), but that she would get royalties if the images did well (which, given their reach, they obviously did). I could see how the article could be read for that

“They told me that they wouldn’t be able to pay me for the first shoot,” Gaines said, though she did stand to make royalties and earn a second shoot if “the image does well.”

Taking advantage of a non-professional without legal counsel by telling them one thing and having them sign a contract that says another is pretty clearly a scam. Do you not think there is a problem with that? The consequences of this scam are pretty minor, but if her story is true it’s nonetheless obviously a scam.

Hmmm. Did not realize that the climax scene of Back to the Future was an homage.

But the “league” is just the teams collectively. Adam Silver works for the owners and can be fired if a majority of them don’t like what he does. So the distinction isn’t really there.

Given your handle, I’d be interested to hear your favorite three song run from a Neil album. I’d probably go with Revolution Blues, For the Turnstiles, Vampire Blues off On the Beach, but there are a ton of respectable choices there.

So many valid choices, but the one that comes immediately to mind is the last three tracks of side one of Neil Young’s On the Beach. Revolution Blues, For The Turnstiles, and Vampire Blues all just kill and fit so nicely together. Now I’ve gotta go listen to On the Beach.

I was most certainly not with you, but I didn’t hate you until you threatened to undo Television. Go away.

Isaiah Thomas, I’m guessing?
